“ Having read other reviews I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent fish and chips. Fish tasted fresh and the batter was nice and crispy. Chips served in a basket were very good. The wine was good. Beautiful summer's evening and great music. Some of the locals started to get a bit noisy as the sun set but otherwise a very good experience. ”

“ A lively group of 8 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers, and 5 dogs arrived here on New Year’s Eve, and the staff handled us brilliantly. Despite the chaos we brought with us, the food came out hot, tasty, and with nothing missing - a minor miracle considering the mountain of fish and chips, burgers, and chicken nuggets we ordered. The gentleman who took our orders was polite, organised, and ensured everything ran smoothly. He even made the dogs feel welcome with bowls of water - although they were probably eyeing the chicken nuggets too! We’d visited just before Christmas and had such a positive experience that we knew we had to return with the family after a windy NYE walk. A big thank you to the team for excellent service and delicious food! ”

She had fish fingers & when they arrived there was 6 on the plate with a big basket of chips. She had a choice or orange or apple juice too. Would definitely come here again ”
“ We went here today for the first time. Food was delicious, staff were friendly, but most importantly they were so wonderfully accommodating for our little boy who is autistic. He ordered a cheeseburger but when it arrived he didn't want the beef, just the cheese and bun so they brought us a new bun with cheese. He ate the cheese and some of the bun and asked for more cheese. They brought him another cheese slice. Then they took the kids meal off the bill for us. We will 100% be coming back!! ”
